I am using one of the kits as a template to scratch build a car. This will be the first car I scratch built, I'm excited!

I couldn't wait to get the trucks and couplers on. It's pretty nice on the track.

I built the wall board-on-board. Once it was complete I started "ruining" it. I was having trouble getting started but once I did... It still needs weathering to bring out the details

The walls are together! I am excited and surprised how well this project is coming together. Even though it is taking longer to do this one than the other cars it is a lot of fun and that's why I'm doing it!

I started to lay out the deck pieces. This is the view from the bottom.

The deck is done. It looks great on the track. More detail pictures of the deck to come. It still needs to be weathered and made to look broken-down.
